WASHINGTON, January 29, 2009 - The following project was approved today by the World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors:

IDA Credit: US$10 million equivalent

TERMS: Maturity = 40 years; Grace= 10 years

Project Description: The additional financing will scale up the heating component of the Energy II Project to improve the availability, quality, and efficiency of heating in selected public buildings.
