IBRD Loan: US$600 million TERMS: Maturity = 21 years; Grace= 6 years Project Description: The project will provide support to the Government of Egypt to (i) help ensure continuous electricity supply in a sustainable manner through investment in new generation capacity; and (ii) improve the sector’s financial sustainability by providing technical assistance to the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC) to support adjustments to electricity tariffs.
