The ream reportedly has enough funding for the first four races of the 2009 seasonLate last year Honda announced its withdrawal from the world of F1 as well as an intention to sell the team. While Honda is yet to find a buyer, the team currently known as Honda will reportedly be in Melbourne for the start of the 2009 F1 season. Furthermore, the team may even have enough financial backing to guarantee its presence for a further three races.
The Guardian on Friday agreed with speculation and reports that an immediate solution to the Brackley based squad's situation. Citing sources "close to the" team, the British newspaper said the team had secured $30 million in funds thanks to Brazilian sponsors backing Bruno Senna, the nephew of legendary F1 driver Ayrton Senna.
Senna will be joined by Jenson Button, both of which will reportedly be driving new cars powered by Mercedes Benz V8 engines.
